Vatnar Camp (leirsted in Norwegian) is suitable for groups of 10 – 100 participants. The camp is perfectly located between Bø and Notodden, in the heart of the picturesque county of Telemark. It is lined with a river that offers opportunity for swimming. The Camp can be used as a starting point for adventures in the nature, or as a gathering place for groups in need of cheap facilities in a peaceful environment. See map here

We have altogether 90 beds, in 29 rooms, in two buildings.
We also have mattresses and areas for tents and campers/caravans.
The beds are equipped with comforters and pillows.

The area
Lifjell is nearby with possibilities for hiking in the summer time and skiing in the winter time. Nice prepared lighted tracks at Grønkjær ski center, and a ski resort at Lifjell. See lifjell.no and g-skisenter.no. Bø Sommarland is only three kilometres away. See sommerland.no.

Vatnar Camp is owned by Vatnar Christian Fellowship and is used for our camps and events and for rental. It has a rather simple standard - but it's clean, cozy and functional. The place has everything needed for groups of children and youth to be active and social together. A trip to Vatnar Camp with good leaders may give the participants good memories for life

Our rental rates
Minimum price: 4800 NOK per day (for groups of up to 40 people in the main building)
Addition per person: 120 NOK per day.
Meeting hall: 1500 NOK per day
November-April: An additional 1000 NOK per day for electricity expenses.
The prices require that the renter cleans before they leave.
We can offer cleaning after rental for 4500 NOK.
